Chester County Information

As one of the three original Pennsylvania counties, Chester County has a history that dates back to the late 1600s. Established in 1682, the region was mostly known for its large, rural landscape and dealt heavily in agriculture. This allowed for the region to provide a variety of goods to the Philadelphia Market. Seeing the growth of the neighboring city, Philadelphia, it would only be a matter of time before Chester County experienced growth and urbanization of its own.

Conveniently located in Philadelphia’s Metropolitan area, this region has a lot to offer its residents and visitors. Whether it’s historical sites, modern day museums, shops, or hiking trails, you’ll find something to keep the entire family entertained.
